My client operates an established, independent Gastro Pub in Henley. This is a high volume, fresh food operation using some of the best ingredients the area has to offer.
As Head Chef you will be fully accountable for the Kitchen, menus, suppliers, the team, food costs and have the autonomy to make a difference. You will work closely with the General Manager raising the profile of the site. The food offer is high end pub food. Nothing more, nothing less. They are not chasing accolades and nor will their Head Chef be. Simplicity is the key here.
We are looking for a Head Chef who has worked in similar quality food Pubs or restaurants. Someone who can cook to a high level in a busy environment. As head Chef you must be able to work to set GP?s, labour costs and monitor these effectively.
